- bad HW equipment, with low power for more advanced work, hard and very long way to convince the management to buy me a real engineering workstation - your work might be never used - too much effort spent with endless talks about effort estimation optimisations - management does not listen engineers about effort estimations - management is changing frequently and has no deep technical know how in its department, when it starts to get a picture it is changed again

Extremely hard to get ahead in! Even if you're a top performer you're not going to get anywhere unless you're drinking buddies with the right people! There's too much influence and micro management from Germany and they don't understand this market. There's no long term career planning and managers just care about quarterly results. They have an extremely confusing and complicated performance review process that is a headache to deal with and it's primarily designed to find ways to cut from your bonus even if you're a top performer and deliver the results! The company is huge but built of a thousand tiny departments that don't have anything to do with each other so you will end up working in a small organization with not much room to grow and most of them are just tiny and scattered sales organizations with a heavy influence from Germany. The pay is below industry standard specially compared to American competitors like Rockwell, GE, Emerson, etc. You will see a lot of incompetent managers that keep their job no matter how many times they screw up and a lot of talented people who leave because of them
