No more than great name on your resume...
Pros
Pay and benefits are competitive but very average when you consider 50-60 hours work week
Cons
HVAC controls have become a commodity because of large national moguls like JCI, Trane, Daikin etc who can package equipment with BACnet controllers. Siemens has only about 1% market share and in the last decade have lost more ground than gained. With a handful of customers their growth requirement is so absurd that it would be easier to build a new controls company from the ground up, than to achieve their expectations. There is no work life balance. Working some long hours is a norm but they expect 12 hour days everyday and push on the story of this is the only way to succeed. I honestly haven't experienced this amount of pressure ever in my entire professional life. They also don't have any culture. What you will be a part of if you decided to join is keep your head down, keep hustling and hope they don't ask for more and they definitely will. You are the lemon and they want more and more juice to squeeze out of you. To the point of mental exhaustion. After a while I was so miserable and stressed out that quitting was the only healthy solution. But if you are willing to see for yourself, all I can say is good luck...
