Pros

A global conglomerate. Large organization has opportunities to move horizontally. Building Technologies is not very innovative or creative. However, Healthcare is. Laid back work environment Work/Life Balance Great place to go to retire

Cons

Extremely political organization with preference to seniority, friendships and favoritism. It is a "tech giant" that is stuck in the 70s. Political-clout and make sure you part of the right party in power. Promotions are based on who you know and not what you know. There is a lot of talk about innovation and the leaders who have been assigned to innovate have no technology background. It is a 'YES' culture. If you flatter your manager, leadership team and go with the flow you will survive. The organization lacks diversity among employee population and senior leadership. Not a single VP is a woman or a minority or from a technology background. If you are smart and young, this is not a place for you.

Pros

Salary was the only pro

Cons

The Manager for service coordinators sells the position well. Once you are in, there is nothing that helps you do your job. Listening to meetings weekly and watching the manager “do” things on shared screens fast is a joke. I was told by another manager “no one was taught the position correctly” so the person training me was a joke. You’re told you train for a month and then work from home two days a week. I would come in and no one was there to train me. No communication. I would suggest ideas of how to make things easier the response was “absolutely not”. The manager added new duties and changed rolls for each department service coordinator multiple times while I was there which makes a job to learn very difficult. My mentor/trainer again was a joke, I was left for an hour and half for her lunch multiples times. She would delete emails nonstop. She would tell other managers “you can fire me”. She talked horrible about everyone in the office. Most time there was spent listening to her complain. After then going over this with my manager it was suggested I train with someone who is not in the office and I had to wait for them. I was told to wait until she could help me which was early afternoon. The manager was not a manager and did not know how to handle and or resolve issues.

Pros

* Nothing * If you are a spineless psychopat who perfected rectal alpinism you will made a career even if you are totally incompetent in everything valuable

Cons

Where to even begin? Incompetent colleagues? Tragically incompetent and evil managers? That people who are long in the company are literally idiots not understanding even basics of their job? Wage extremely below average? Lies? Cliques? Favoritism? Toxic environment? Treating software developers like slaves and punish them if they have different opinion how to do something? Punish people for doing their job the best they can? Disfunctional infrastructure (it took them almost a month to provide me all acceses so I could at least download source code and then they tried to frame me for being incompetent rather than blame themselves). Literally everything. If you want to experience toxic, rude, crony, corrupt, gossiping environment for laughable wage you are in a right place.
