Pros

Gain experience & benefits package. If you want to come into Siemens and learn it could be a great place to be. You learn from your colleges and there is constant encouragement to take additional classes. Good company to improve professional skills. The benefits package is great.

Cons

If you want to find career growth it will be more complicated. There is a lot information on the intranet describing possibilities but once you try to implement some suggestions in practice you'll find the process is extremely slow and cumbersome.

Pros

Nothing particular about this contract staffing company that stood out, which is a good thing.

Cons

Prior to the start date of my assignment, I noticed that the start date listed on the contract was different from the date given to me. I had to contact them to correct the mistake. This is pretty common in all contracting agencies though, you just have to make sure all the information are correct.

Pros

Micro Managment at it's best. They will be involved in every aspect of you day to day. There will never not be an reason not to be busy. Great for people who love to work. The salary is within acceptable ranges and Most management is pleasent enough to deal with.

Cons

Micro Managment at it's best. They will be involved in every aspect of you day to day. The have rules laid out for how you should do your job. There is no real room for error or slow days in their minds. If they pay you for 40 hrs and work only comes to 30hrs, they will eventually find 4 people in the same boat and remove one to spread the work around. This makes for a somewhat tense desire to find work by the more "go getting" employees
