Pros

-Great office space, office facilities, etc.

Cons

- I felt like I was locked in in the offices and not allowed to leave. They actually had a pinch in and out for when employees entered the building & when they'd leave! It was a total nightmare :/ - Management were not friendly whatsoever & no room for growth or even a learning curve, I felt like a secretary half the time. - Pay was terrible

Pros

Most coworkers are great. Benefits are really good. You can learn a lot about the energy market if you pay attention. They offer a lot of online learning options. Cross-training is possible if you show an interest in it.

Cons

Salary is below market and merit increases are minimal. With some managers, blame is placed for process breaks without determining actual fault first. It isn't unusual to be held responsible for errors made by other teams because you didn't "catch" them, even if looking for them is not part of your tasks. There are not many opportunities for advancement. Some managers are out of touch with their teams. Others micromanage. In some cases, certain managers will delay approving PTO requested months in advance to see if anyone else is going to request it. It's hard to finalize vacation plans when your request isn't approved until the last minute. Employees often don't feel that their hard work is appreciated. Training is, for the most part, minimal and spotty. Like many other companies, they want to do more with less. Employees struggle to keep up when workloads increase because of the ridiculous formula used to determine whether additional resources can be brought in. The amount of time a person remains a contractor before being converted is excessive.
