The pay is the highest for this type of work in the surrounding area and is pretty much the major league of machining.

Cons

Lower management is full of incompetent fools who lie and then lie again to upper management to cover up those lies. The company basically condones this behavior. Also lots of money wasted on meetings/workshops. The internal propaganda is sickening. The company actually paid someone to say that the factory was using state of the art equipment....... There may have been one machine, definitely not enough to say the facility was state of the art. Ancient machines with nice blue paint, still old machines.

I Was Terminated today, within 18hrs of reporting issues with my PTSD. What a kick in the nuts, Thanks a lot Siemens. My advice to Vets seeking employment with Siemens is to keep any word of PTSD to yourself.

Pros

Great Benefits, Company Truck, Clothing Allowance, Decent pay, Decent rewards program (at least in my area), Good People to work with (again, at least in my area), Lots of opportunity to move around within the company or go to a different branch. Always plenty of work for those that look for more to do and help them stand out.

Cons

Pay could be better, its not bad when you consider the company vehicle and matching 401k, but having extra cash in my pocket at the end of the month would be nice. I understand that I have only been here a year, and that I am still in an "entry level" job, but I feel that after 11 years of military service prior to hiring should be taken into account with the "entry level" pay.
