Pros

- Autonomy in how to work gets done - Smart, collaborative, fun people - Leadership cares about the people, has been incredibly supportive of time off and life balance during COVID.

Cons

- Huge pay bands and very difficult to move up within one regardless of impact - make sure you negotiate aggressively at sign on, it might be your only real opportunity to for years. - Cross team collaboration can be hard to get organized/prioritized.

Pros

- Slack is an amazing company that cares for people and customers. - CEO, CTO and all other executives are awesome. They always take care of the employees. Especially during COVID19 crisis, all executives showed a great character, allowed employees to settle down and adjust to the new situation and made sure work-life balance is maintained even when people are always staying at home. - Some perks offered during COVID19 crisis : Flexible working hours, $1000 stipend to buy WFH equipments, special time off for emergencies and permanent (optional) remote work.

Cons

Stiff competition from Microsoft Teams.
