Pros

Good benefits, food in cafeteria

Cons

Stock price dropped like 90% in my time here. I wrote off like a 100 thousand worth of losses. Management is super political and hire their friends. Promotion by committee where a bunch of managers that have no idea what you worked on evaluate you. Performance evaluation ensures that 75% of the company gets meets expectations which means no bonus. Entire process is dependent on manager input. No other input matters. Manager just promotes their favorites with no recourse for employees. Most of the employees here don't even use the app. Have no idea how to use the features they are building.

Pros

Perks and on-site cafe are great. Love the baristas on site.

Cons

There is a “reorg” email almost monthly with layoffs that just don’t make sense. The entire executive team has left within the last six months and when I say left I mean pushed out. The culture has turned ice cold and the politics have gotten out of hand. Snap has lost its vision sadly and management is not equipped to fix it.
