Pros

- tech company perks ie. free food, happy hours, ect... - new laptops - remote work

Cons

- lack of transparency (never interviewed with my lead or person I reported to) - unstable leadership - hourly work with accrued PTO but unlimited sick days (majority of company salary with unlimited PTO) - I was often made to feel "othered" - overtraining to the point of micro-management (no trust in subordinates) About 2 months into training I had a hunch my work was being critiqued more harshly than my equivalent counterpart. I tested this hypothesis by directly copying my coworker's ticket response onto an equivalent ticket submitted under my name. My QA feedback was a paragraph long whereas theirs was "Excellent, great job!" It's difficult to see this issue as a non black and white or unconscious/implicit/inherent bias.

Pros

Coworkers, even though a smaller group, are great.

Cons

Contract term was not fully transparent when hiring. Employees should know when the current contract ends when hired. Our manager is overworked and can not manage their emotions

Pros

Pays decently if not for stock price plummeting

Cons

Lack of diversity. Diversity here means throwing a white woman to blend out the sea of men.
