Inexperienced middle managers

Pros

CEO and top leadership put a big emphasis mental health and wellness. They do make efforts to improve overall culture. Benefits are great, comp is hit or miss.

Cons

Despite the encouragement and efforts towards inclusion, there remains major issues within Engineering and Sales, for different reasons. Extremely big gap in sales experience and comp, always trying to copy Facebook/Google format. Some inexperienced middle managers can have zero sales or management experience and care only about their own success, leading to micro-management and a 'my way or the highway' mantra. Career progression is extremely biased and requirements frequently change. This is not a place for growth.

Pros

Every company has areas of improvement, but overall the atmosphere at Snap feels like it makes strides towards being a more inclusive and welcoming work place.

Cons

We need more diversity at leadership levels.
