Business Outlook
Pros
Perks in terms of free lunches, drinks etc. Plenty of social activities and a real cameraderie. There is a great onus on people to be proactive and take accountability for their progression, with lots of lunch-and-learns and training sessions laid on for our benefit. Very understanding with regards to sick leave, compassionate leave etc.
Cons
High turnover of staff. Salary review once a year only, and I know of few people who successfully negotiated a raise. Depending on your department, progression opportunities could be limited.
