Syneos Health reviews

I was recently laid off in the middle of a massive organizational project. I was informed that the decision was budgetary, not performance-based. During my layoff, I was immediately put on paid leave and sent home. A week and a half later, my paycheck was shorted by 18%. Despite multiple emails to HR, requesting compensation for the missing hours, I was told I would receive it soon, but no specific date was provided. Additionally, I have requested the payout structure of my severance package multiple times (10 times to be exact) with no response. Two more weeks passed, and I received my first severance payout, which was also shorted. To date, I have yet to hear back from HR or anyone regarding the shorted pay from my first paycheck and the severance payout. On top of this, I was $340 away from getting my company match. The company was strategic with my layoff and knows what they’re doing. They will overwork you, use you up, and discard you without any regard. Massive layoffs are happening, and it's clear they do not care about their employees. Seriously, avoid this company at all costs!

Executive leadership is HORRIBLE at communicating. Since the merger our benefits have gone down the drain. High deductible health insurance is crazy expensive. At the beginning of COVID they decided to postpone promotions and merit raises globally. These have still not occurred this year and there is no plan or communication to do so. 401k employee contributions were “suspended” in April for US employees only. We still don’t have them back and yet again no communication on when they plan to reimplement them. They have pushed for new business so we are working our tails off but the benefits and merit raises certainly don’t show that the company appreciates any of the hard work.
