Pay High but burn out quick

All the perks of a big CRO, benefits, per diem meals, etc

Cons

No work life balance, especially all remote monitoring. If you don't have 10 days visits a month, you will be ask to fill it up to help other trials with same sponsor. Managers don't listen to your overburn, since they are in the same situations. PMs have no experience in managing trials or CRA experience, they are basically promoted project specialist. Leads are dropping like flies, you have a skeleton crew on the trial. No immediate support when need...the list goes on, but its been like this for the last 9 months.

They make you jump through hoops to move internally. To become a CRA internally, you can’t be a certain complexion. Sick time is your PTO Raises are a joke No diversity

Cons

Minimum avenues to promote. To advance you have to apply and go through whole interview process again with people who don't know you. Past records for achievements, contributions, etc. are irrelevant.
