Good salary and culture, but difficult to get promoted

Pros

Salary is good and work-life balance isn't too bad for (consulting). Don't have to travel much to client site either as most clients prefer remote working due to being in Europe / US.

Cons

Two promotion cycles per year but many people are currently drastically overdue promotion due to org. structure imbalances. Favouritism commonly believed to exist, with certain individuals always getting the best projects, promotions etc.

They are experts at client services with launching and field force optimization

Cons

Sometimes when there are lay offs by the client the company does not have geographically aligned opportunities right away and there can some times be a lag in the next contract.
