      Pros

      Opportunity to grow - management provided me all opportunity that I want pursue for my career growth. Work life balance.

      Cons

      Not much of training that happens for the employees. No library. No fun at work. No medical room. Poor medical insurance for employees. Does not match pay-cheques that some other employer will offer for people with same skill set.

      Pros

      Synopsys develops good tools and honestly tries to make them better. The work is interesting. Senior management is mostly forthright about where the company is going.

      Cons

      The senior people are in place at Synopsys, so there is little oppertunity for career growth. The business units eschew risk, so don't expect anyone to let you try something risky that the marketplace might not expect.
