      Pros

      Definitely one of the best EDA companies to work for in terms of the quality and nature of work involved Work is generally technically challenging and interesting

      Cons

      Do not ever join at a junior level... very few growth opportunities Highly dependent on the semi-conductor industry for growth. Does not go down as quickly as the Semiconductor industry, but doesn't bounce back as fast too.

      Pros

      Smart all all technical people, colleagues are helpful, strong management, good company culture.

      Cons

      Salary level has been frozen for too long. For a company that has many office locations around the world, this is not fair for many of these locations, including major RnD locations. Smart people who have higher aims and work diligently to demo their values are disappointed, and are leaving. I am definitely going to leave by mid of next year. And I am talking about people working at this company for at least 5 or 6 years who have significant contributions.

      - Best in EDA - Excellent senior management. They know where they are going.

      Cons

      - Extremely slow growth. Average promotion after 4 years regardless of quality and dedication to work. - Due to this mid-level-to-first level management devotes time to promote themselves alone.
