      best effort working environment, good for time life balance, good for parents, good for community work entheusists, good for Yoga lovers, gym lovers

      Synopsys is a great EDA company, one of the pioneers, and continues to have great R+D and product portfolios.

      Pros

      Very interesting, challenging projects, great people, a very supportive culture for people who want to dig deep to solve difficult problems.

      Cons

      Some tendency toward bureaucracy, but probably far below average for a company of its size. My experience of the more bureaucratic elements was certainly not stifling and did not have a great impact on productivity. Perhaps more thought should be given to determining the scalability of certain processes before making them mandatory. M&A is not always the most effective, nor the most profitable way to advance the business.
