Pros

Fast paced, good learning, young talent, decent pay, some other perks

Cons

Managers in emerging tech are super-oppressive, ego-centric and with full of kiss-up/kick-down BS. Skip level does not know how managers are treating developers (may be it doesn't matter, it is in T-Mobile's DNA, you know). My manager literally threatened me that I will be sacked if I argue and as a punishment got called during odd hours until I quit while there is offshore to take care of issues.

Pros

Competitive pay for the area if you negotiate well Fast-paced so you can accomplish or learn a lot in a small time frame Mostly very high visibility work, what you work on impacts customers Free lunch, for now..

Cons

Heavy workload Work machine riddled with bloatware, making day-to-day tasks a challenge Promotions in the company are rare unless you’re Director+ Re-orgs happen frequently, leadership changes with the seasons Director+ leadership is terrible Any engineer with half a brain left with the first re-org Company too dependent on contractors Poor SRE standards Layoffs
