      Pros

      People love what they do here. They aren't being fake about it. Good perks: fully-stocked kitchen, catered lunches, fully paid benefits, commuter stipend, travel opportunities, etc.

      Cons

      They're growing like crazy so it's hard to say how long the culture will remain as is but so far they've done a great job at it. There isn't a huge brand recognition in the bay area yet yet so it's hard to compete with the other companies around. Base salary tends to be lower than most expect but everyone receives a bonus and RSUs.

      Pros

      Everyone mentions this in their review, but the culture truly is amazing. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop after being in a bad work environment before Tableau. The people are smart, friendly, compassionate, hardworking, and really believe in Tableau's mission. Can't beat the perks of tons of free food, great location, fantastic benefits, fancy sit-stand desks for everyone, and a beautiful new office space either! I've never heard anyone complain about their job or the company, which is a first after where I've worked in the past.

      Cons

      I definitely have gained weight since I started here because of all of the free food! The interview process was a little long and intense, but it felt great to get the offer.

      So happy to read you are loving being at Tableau! I agree...the Tableau ten isn't a myth! My secret is checking out a Tableau Cruiser in the Seattle office and taking it for a spin at lunch on the Burke...helps me justify the Cherry Coke and peanut butter pretzels! :)

      Pros

      Marketing machine! Best marketing team in the industry. Product Management is top notch; constantly pushing the envelope to improve products.

      Cons

      Not a sales driven organization. Look to minimize commissions and earnings rather than provide reasonable targets that can lead to accelerators.
