      Pros

      Great benefits, stock options (4 yr vesting), free food. Great product.

      Cons

      Very poor compensation/base pay. Opposite of transparent commission structure. Morale is very low. Management has no management experience, which is very prevalent when sales are slow, masked when sales are good.

      Pros

      A fantastic company started by smart people with a clear vision that they have successfully turned into a reality. The product is amazing and the customers love Tableau, they are engaged and friendly, customer relationships can feel more like "coffee with a friend" than a corporate meeting. American benefits such as a kitchen full of sweets, chocolates and fizzy drinks (if you like that sort of thing) and plenty of beers in the pub next door to celebrate a big deal closing!

      Cons

      A lot of management in EMEA do not seem qualified for their level of leadership, a common error in such fast paced companies. People have been promoted into roles due to circumstance and tenure not necessarily because they are well suited. Focus is ONLY on the number, No people development, no basic HR support, no excuses when the number isn't there. Senior management live in the data and create a culture far removed from the one Tableau speaks to. Disorganized goals, slow responses, and a splatter gun approach to priorities are a daily occurrence.

      Pros

      Best product in the industry, awesome team to work with, great benefits especially if you're in a city with an office. Everyone is motivated and eager to perform at their highest ability.

      Cons

      Weak matching 401K, if promoted from within you're not rewarded/paid same as if you were hired from outside the company, so you're better off to quit, then rehire months later to get the salary/compensation you deserve/that's competitive.
