      Pros

      Tableau is a great place to be overall. The growth of the company rumbles through consistently and can be felt by everyone. IT creates excitement. The culture is great and as employee it is easy to feel supported personally and professionally.

      Cons

      Sometimes I think the company is growing a bit too fast and that communication across the channels lacks. Follow through can be a challenge sometimes. There needs to be a bit of budge on the year "requirement" to move to another role because we are busting at the seams.

      Pros

      Great medical benefits, stock grants, annual bonuses (Sales), fully stocked kitchens, and amazing company parties! Team camaraderie is top-notch. This is the ideal first job out of college.

      Cons

      As mentioned by others, external hires are often much better compensated than those internally promoted. Additionally, executives appear to be in cash out mode, selling off their stock/options at every opportunity, negatively impacting those holding restricted shares. This isn't uncommon at "growth" Tech companies that have gone public, however, the degree of selling at Tableau is a bit sinister. Income/compensation inequality is definitely an issue.

      Pros

      Excellent product, great visionary leadership by co-founders. Health benefits are over the top and well appreciated; Great perks with fully stocked kitchens; beautiful offices Intelligent and talented people

      Cons

      Confusing structure, direction comes from many with little communication amoungst team. Inexperienced management; Unspoken expectations, watch out! Very very poor communication, very little colaboration. Disrespectful to direct reports. No delegation, therefore no personal growth. Experienced professionals not valued. Some senior management/management live in the data and create a culture far removed from the one Tableau speaks to.
