Pros

Great location in Cambridge, MA, competitive salary, flexible working arrangements and lots of nice co-workers. On first blush Takeda is a great place to work.

Cons

Like most large pharmas, Takeda is constantly "transforming" itself which is Takeda speak for downsizing. The R&D Organization, where I work, has undergone two global, large scale downsizings, in the past two years. Additionally, management is very disconnected with the employee-base. In short, we lose people every day who we can't afford to lose.

not employee-focused at all, but principle-focused only, no transparency of people selection process, employees are kept in the dark and decisions are made without consulting the ones who have the knowledge

Cons

By far the most disorganised company I have worked for. Shambolic induction. Management are fond of highfalutin talk but fail to give clear expectations and direction. Some very unpleasant individuals.
