Where to start… -Incompetent management, ended up locked out of my account for a solid 2 weeks and team and department leads were absolutely zero help. -Asked for more work, told to stop asking, manager then complained that I wasn’t being an “independent worker” by not asking “What can I do for the team?” -Manager was absolutely clueless when it came to the most basic of tasks. Was made to read through ludicrously long log files then fill out roughly 100~ reports by hand and they ended up getting scrapped (developer by the way…) -Completely overlooked in stand ups, project manager seemed to only care about his reputation and spent 30 minutes everyday complaining and giving out to senior members of the team. -Red tape was insane, had to ask multiple IT team members for permissions to install ANYTHING. -Constantly hounded by IT to update and restart laptop. -Had to wait about 8 months before being given my first task. -Onboarding process was completely asinine cult member tier stuff (Our company is sooo great you should feel privileged to work for us). -Onboarding was a complete waste of time too, they brought us into breakout rooms and told us to come up with racist stereotypes about Indian, English and Irish people, and told us absolutely zilch about working in the company (didn’t learn anything about “being on the bench” aka being in between teams indefinitely but learned that the founder was a Zoroastrian!!) -Email was limited to 200MB, I had no clue this was even an option but it became apparent when TCS spammed you out with the most asinine newsletters and emails like Yoga learning and other pointless activities that you’d reach that limit extremely quick, oh and when you do reach these limits you get your emailing privileges revoked! -forced to side load what can only be described as bloatware onto your phone -Ultimatix (their in-house social network and workday) was a complete joke -constantly hounded to fill out the most stupid acronym titled reviews. If you don’t fill them out you get HR stalking you.

Freshers get least salary. Which is why 80% of them quit tcs after completing 2 years.
