I am an IT Analyst for past one yr with overall 7 yrs of exp. So when I joined tcs I was told that after one yr of completion(known as final aniversary) I will be getting a good hike but got 0% hike.This happened with all of the batchmates that joined tcs with me(20 people atleast).Some with junior level got hike 18-20 k yearly(System engineers).On asking HR I was told that due to some internal policie changes recently we all would not be getting any hikes after one yr of hard work and we need to wait for one more yr for my H2(appraisal).On further enquiring I got to know that when tcs hires someone as an experienced professional they give him some rating from 1-5 which is mostly 5 the highest.So after one yr, 99% of the employees do not get that kind of rating usually they get 3 or 4 which is obviously less that what they were initially hired on and hence no hike after first yr of joinning.So lets see the living standards now.Washroomes are pathetic as public toilets.They some times put buckets under the mail toiles to avaoid leakage on the floor.Parking is a concern in almost all of the Buildings in TCS NCR.So park your cars outside without any guards.Recently our HR's car got stollen after which we could see some guards here and there.Cafeteria is kind of ok.Some policies are employee friendly while most of them are company friendly.So if ur not looking for a good salary this this the perfect company for you.
