      Pros

      TCS has phenomenal people - this is bar far one of the best reasons to work for TCS. In my years with the company I have been extremely impressed with the caliber of the people I have interacted with. There are also a variety of career opportunities. I have seen people start in consulting and move into another workforce later in their career when they needed a change or wanted a slower pace but still have a challenging and interesting career. TCS is a top notch, highly reputable company which makes me proud to be employed there. It offers excellent benefits and flexibility,

      Cons

      Promotion is biased and there is no such thing as work life balance. There is no importance given to your career growth. You have to be chargeble and working at all times even though the work is not related to your skill set.

      Pros

      Good for people who don't want to work too much and are not concerned about growth or skills improvement. If you are not concerned about growth but are just looking for some basic salary this is the company. Especially good for women who have families and don't want to devote too much time on work.

      Cons

      Growth opportunities are low. Performance is not valued. Technology / Skills are low. They work based on quantity than on quality. Seniority and number of years matter more than what you know and the skill you posses.
