Pros

You can live just about anywhere in the U.S. You learn all the different tools in the marketplace (open source and otherwise)...we are not tied to a single analytics platform...we use what our customers use. You have autonomy to run your project and the engagement with the customer as you see fit (although this is changing a bit now). You are able to solve problems in any industry. Other colleagues are great to work with (for the most part).

Cons

Travel can be rough. Lots of pressure to deliver in short time lines (due to pressure TD has to sign smaller projects).

For new Employees they provide good training, and only in TD it is possible to learn many new technologies. they are always upto date with new technologies

Cons

techinically Employees should know most of the technolgies, else they will be in big trouble
