      Pros

      Good Technology. Reasonable work life balance.

      Cons

      Engineering management in the bay area has no idea either about management or technology. Leader is more interested in marketing himself upward rather than doing the right thing for the product/company/people. Highly political environment in the bay area with rewards to the "inner circle" rather than by merit. Absent or incompetent HR in bay area.

      - nice pay - nice brand - work life balance nothing more than this. higher management filling their pocket in hyderabad.They dont care for company's future.

      Pros

      Great co-workers and very seasoned Data Warehousing professionals. Technology is solid and works well. For me pay was good and work life / balance was OK. I was either waiting on work or working 60 hours a week with travel.

      Cons

      Lack of focus on PS sales... They are in the mode of selling anything with poor SOW's agreed upon with customers. Not getting big deals or partnering with IBM/Accenture and others to help grow business. The virtual office is good/bad, it is very difficult to network or know what is happening in the company. Difficult to get training. I almost finished the complete Architecture class list then they changed it or would not allow me to go to critical training. Did not support me getting Hadoop training or Data Science/Analytics classes. Then laid me off since I didn't have Hadoop training.
