Pros

- Good salary, benefits and overall flexible working environment - Professional coworkers that are committed to what they do - Management has its head on right and is generally making the right calls - Training is second to none, the company does its best to keep everyone up to speed - Industry leader in marketing applications, and they acquired one of the better companies in town - Moving to a truly Agile model with surprising alacrity

Cons

- Toxic infighting. Some teams have bitter rivalries with others, and management isn't doing much to dissuade it -Silo effect. A lot of knowledge revolves around a few people that are determined to wall off their systems or knowledge - Lack of proactive, modern thinking among some engineers and a strong attitude of "we've always done it this way" - Analysis paralysis with some of the engineering leaders - Company has a (likely painful) transition period ahead in the next fiscal year, as some of the fundamental biz dynamics and technologies are changing
