Pros

Always a lot of exciting projects happening and different ways to get engaged and learn more. Freedom to work outside your scope and have impact.

Cons

Environment can be toxic and all-consuming. Work is intense, long hours are common, you are sometimes treated disrespectfully, are seen as just a number, and compensation is lower than most other Bay Area companies.

Pros

All the engineers that I worked with were great people and incredibly intelligent. The problems were challenging and I learned a ton while I was there.

Cons

The priorities shifted around every couple of weeks and I felt that the management expected us to keep to all the priorities. Management was very passive aggressive and would ridicule poor work instead of providing constructive feedback. Very poor work-life balance.
