      Pros

      - Work is highly technical - Contributions go directly into the product - Lots of freedom to experiment - Interesting work for a low-level engineer - Nice manager, always supportive - Not as "intense" as one might think, given Tesla's reputation (could be a con for some people)

      Cons

      - Lots of stupid technical debt - Peer review and integration testing practices are often heavy-handed and tedious - Not as "inspiring" on the inside as perceived from the outside - Typical flaws of a corporation (pointless meetings, Office Space tier office culture, countless flavorless interactions, etc) - High friction between teams - Lots of negativity about the company and CEO from (some) coworkers (i.e. the jaded atmosphere doesn't inspire) - Several overly opinionated, hard to work with people poison dialog with their technical ideology

      Chaotic management which makes pressure sometimes unnecessarily high, micromanagement is very common and again a lot of times unnecessary and only slows down the process without providing much contribution...
