From my experience at Tesla Collision, senior leadership and HR often seemed more focused on protecting the company than on supporting employees. In at-will state environment, job security felt precarious, and employee concerns were not always addressed promptly. It also seemed that management did not hire from within the organization to fill key roles, which limited internal growth and mobility. I was in a management role myself, and I was terminated suddenly. HR did not consistently advocate for employees, and responses to issues could be slow or unsatisfactory. When you sign your contract, read the fine print carefully: you may be subject to at-will termination, and termination can occur at any time with limited recourse.
