If you're a motivated and driven individual, you will do fine at Tesla. The company is building exciting products and has a great mission.

Cons

Terrible work-life balance. Pay not as competitive. They just give you more equity, but base salary is not as competitive. They do lay-offs without prior notice almost every year.
