A little chaotic

Pros

Smart people are mostly nice. Work life balance. Diversity of gender and race,

Cons

The company is struggling to find how to transition to a big public company and it seems like they don't really know what they are doing and are just trying everything. No coherent strategy. Culture is sagging. Very left leaning. Not very tolerant of diverse perspectives. People from conservative cultures will just have to focus on work and keep their opinions on other matters to yourself.

Pros

- Lots to learn, some projects are really good. - personal growth is owned by the individual. - great work life balance.

Cons

- Low salary, huge disparity between new joiners and people who've been here. -People don't have an option but to leave after a few years irrespective of their performance, contributions or value to their current assignment. No offers given to retain old employees. - Best to avoid working for a promotion because you won't get a raise and promotions require a lot of work. Best to prepare for interviews instead and jump. - twks stock price has been consistently falling since IPO. - aggressive hiring, low confidence in hiring standards. - Lumos is too much work and not worth it. Feels like a school assignment and forced upon. - Ambiguous and biased travel policy. How do some people get international travel and some don't? - Very different standards across the globe. Indian vs. Germany for example. - The cult of thoughtworks. - Social impact, gender diversity and inclusion is just a marketing strategy, don't fall for it.
