Pros
- The major advantage is that you get involved into really important and ambitious projects since day 1 (after completing a several day internship at operational departments such as call-centre etc. and acquiring some basic skills) - The freedom you are provided is also a good opportunity to impress the managers with your creativity and vision of business strategy - Horizontal management hierarchy: every employee feels free to communicate with managers of ant rank - The company doesn't force employees to obey any dress code (but I sometimes find it irritating because of some poorly-dressed colleagues) - Generous social package (life and health insurance, gym membership, frequent sports events)
Cons
- Although Tinkoff claims to be an IT company rather than a classical bank, it won't provide you a laptop to work on thus you are tied up to a particular spot in the office - Lower-level employees are underpayed (and the multiplier is ~ 1.2 for analysts, leading analysts and senior analysts) - Since the company isn't a start-up anymore, career opportunities aren't as bright as they used to be a few years ago - Promotions are given once a year which is really rare considering the double promotions are uncommon
