if you are not involved in a big scale project, be prepared to be forgotten and abandoned. career path unclear, not suitable for young people who are more fluid salary between national and international staff are not equal.

The Organization has reorganized and off-shored staff at least 8 times in my 20 years here - I've been lucky to survive; IT software is behind the times; procurement processes are onerous. It's difficult to move from one position to another. There's a limited career path at any level, but if you don't have a supportive manager, your career will not advance.
