Pros

UNDP provides a opportunity to really learn about global development challenges.

Cons

Put thought into the type of experience that you would like to have. If you prefer more hands-on experience, it would be beneficial to work at the country level. At the country level, you will be able to gain some experience working with grass roots organisations and other partners on the ground. If you work at the regional level, it will predominantly be high-level work (writing reports, doing research and analysis), so think about the type of experience you would like to have.

Pros

The benefit you get is really good and it is a UN organisation that if you work with them you will entitled to good jobs around the world.

Cons

You have to do the job according to the UN standard and rules. You benefit from the health insurance and the travel around for meeting and instruction, The standard of work has to be real high.
