It gave me the opportunity to visit areas in my country that i have never been to before. UNDP allowed me to work on development, both in its preparation phase, and in the field. It is very rewarding to see the results on the ground

Cons

Some negative perceptions on UNDP stem from the international debatable role it plays in the security council can affect cooperation from some society segments

It's not just for money, overall work make sense in a global perspective Reasonably good salary Excellent flexibility in work-life balance issues

Cons

Almost no professional development opportunities Quite high level of internal bureacracy Due to non-commercial nature of the organization procurement and recruitment processes are cumbersome and quite often do not produce satisfactory results
