Pros

Its a hard company to work for until you put in your first year. Until then expect low pay for backbreaking work. If your in a position to give year making vary little money your investment will be grand. But I have a family, I cant work for $10 an hr only working 6 hrs a day not to work much more than that. Delivery drivers make good money but its a bidding WAR to get that far.

Cons

Need to be in a good financial situation to allow for your time to be invested in the company. Packages get thrown around by people who are to high to be fired over. Its union. Good luck getting on full time, the terminal in Memphis, manager told me its been over 10 years since they hired full time position.

Co-workers Pay for part time and no experience Great physical workout I enjoy the work a lot. Having to unload trailers is challenging and I find it fun trying to beat my co-workers times. However, once you prove that you can go hard and are capable of doing so, they expect that all of the time. This can definitely wear a person down that is not prepared togoghard

Cons

Work conditions can be rough depending on weather Chance for advancement Demanding work Lack of hours Found myself and a lot of other co-workers getting sent home if workload is light. Since everything is predicated on seniority, this can be difficult for people without other jobs. This is definitely a solid second job to have.
