Pros

Early morning hours are great if you want to have the day free for other things. Being outside loading jets was great during the warmer months. Unbeatable health benefits. Job security- working for the union.

Cons

Early morning hours was exhausting when I didn't get enough sleep. Being outside loading jets was terrible in the rain. Job security - working for the union sometimes means covering for some lazy co-workers.

Pros

As a part time employee, you are qualified for full benefits. In some location, they offer tuition reimbursement and book expenses.

Cons

As a ramp agent, I was mostly working out in the open. During peak season, expect to stay longer then normal due to the load of parcels coming in.
