Pros

Relatively Good benfits, Strong corporate culture, Clear communications of objectives and expectations, no nonsense approach in dealing with problems. High level of technical competence demonstrated by most management members.

Cons

Junior mgmt members are thrown under the bus to keep labor peace with the unions, especially the Teamsters. Many sort (operations) managers are simply ignorant, and refuse to accept, the necessity of tasks other than those directly related to delivering pkgs. Expectations of younger managers higher than those of previous generations without any education or technical skills.
