Pros

They typically only hire from within and the benefits are untouchable and reasonably priced. They also offer tuition reimbursement to allow further education.

Cons

The hours can be long and very physical taking away from family time. If you have a passion for your degree they will not wavier on relocating you to a department that is not related.

Pros

The pay and benefits. Generally good people to work with. Great vacation time. Get good Christmas gift ideas from what other people order. Establishing relationships with customers.

Cons

Bully type company. Uses daily threats of termination as a motivator, this is widespread. Very hard to get time off. Mandatory overtime, right up to the last minute D.O.T. allows. The company spends more time spying on it's employees than it does taking care of the customer.

Pros

Even during a recession, work is available to be done. After probationary period, compensation is of the best available. Pension available through the Teamsters. Medical benefits package the best in the industry.

Cons

Total time control, down to the second. GPS location information used to watch every movement.
