Pros

The pay offered was like a dream come true.

Cons

I completed the online application on Monday (10/17/22) and was scheduled for orientation the following Monday (10/24/22). I was never contacted with any information about starting work other than a text reminder to attend orientation at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. My application said virtual tour but the virtual tour link stayed locked. I waited a week, spent $55 on the work shoes I was required to wear, tried to call but the automated system will not connect to HR or anyone in reference to jobs. I sent two messages through the contact us links, replied to the text, sent two messages through Facebook and never received a response. They wasted a week of my time that I could have been looking for another job and caused me to put money on a credit card that I can't pay. They are just another big United States Corporation with no accountability.

Pros

HR will tell you to show up for a shift, deliver packages to a short route, and wrongfully terminate you. HR will ghost you quick if HR doesn't like you.

Cons

Hostile Work Environment would not recommend.

Pros

In probably other positions, working for UPS would be an okay place to work.

Cons

No person to directly report to for help. The equipment (phones) internet did not work in the area, nearly impossible to sign in for work on time. (Online video training only) no help in person. Hours varied according to how fast or slow you delivered around 3-4 hrs. a day X $20hr so $60-80 a day. Hard work for little pay. Management blamed, yes blamed people for their phones not working and wrote you up if you couldn't use your own phone instead of theirs, due to THEM not having good internet.
