In 20 years I have only spent a couple programming. Talent management is not the AF’s strong suit

Not a lot for me.

Cons

Being a programmer in the AF is not like being any other career in the AF. Bases are limited, no bonuses, not a lot of options for deployments, and just overall not a lot of people in the Career field to lean on for mentorship.
