- Great opportunity to lead/manage some really great people. - Travel to parts of the world you might otherwise never get to see

Cons

- You will be away from hometown friends/family for your entire time in the Air Force - You will be away from your home/wife/kids for up to a year at a time, at least once during a career - You will move every couple of years, on average; longest at any one location is about four years

Diversity, Growth, and Opportunity are unlimited. If you're willing to work hard and make a career the USAF is worth looking into and considering.

Cons

Promotions are slow and the most sort after assignments are scarce. It's not for everyone if you have problems with taking orders from young and inexperience leaders.
