      Sometimes you end up working for people who will sacrifice the people below them if it helps them get promoted.

      Federal benefits are difficult to beat. Excellent job security. Opportunity for travel, if this is a priority. Good Resume builder.

      Cons

      Frequent travel to unpopular places (read: Iraq and Afghanistan). Pay is less than industry average. Promotions not made on merit.
