The Army Sucks

Pros

Has the potential to teach you important job skills, depending on the MOS (job) you choose upon enlisting. What you choose as your MOS can either be in critical demand in the civilian field or worthless. In theory, the army provides a large potential for career growth within the org for many people coming from poor backgrounds. You will be able to make some really good friends.

Cons

I went in straight out of high school. Like most soldiers, I was very optimistic coming in, but the years of BS turned me into a cynic and I lost belief in the leadership and system.
