Pros

The Army definitely provides you the opportunity to gain experience as a leader and the ability to grow as a professional through multiple jobs over your career.

Cons

The hours can be long especially if you are deployed. Even though I enjoy servicing my country and would be willing to serve in another deployment if required, the multiple deployments do wear you and your family down.

Pros

At first I loved it. Promotion opportunities, great leadership, and time off

Cons

Where to begin...promote law breakers over deserving people. Good ole boy system. Favortism for females because they are scared of SHARP complaints. Leadership has no sympathy for family

Pros

Great people to work with, you'll bond with them like they're your brothers You get paid to work out Good way to get a security clearance You can be really lazy and fly beneath the radar (Con?)

Cons

Zero control over your life or career Organizations vary wildly...but put it this way, the focus in most places isn't on warfighting..at all Lazy stupid peers, superiors, subordinates No real way to advance any faster than anyone else (give or take a couple years)
