      Pros

      Training and benefits. It is a good way for college graduates to break into the corporate world.

      Cons

      If you have good ideas, good luck in getting them implemented. Unless the idea is from the top, no one will listen. Only if you are very aggressive do you have a chance, but then you run the risk of offending people above you because you are essentially pointing out faults that they don't want to admit.

      Pros

      You get to serve your country, and you get to wear the title that only a select few have worn. It's something that you will carry through the rest of your life.

      Cons

      It's hard work. You will be expected, and demanded, to put 110% into everything you do.

      Pros

      worlds premier fighting force. there is a lot of pride in being a United States Marine, i could not picture myself in any other military outfit, the pay wont make you rich but you can live comfortably.

      Cons

      if you are in long enough you will eventually get promoted regaredless of how qualified you are, there are a lot of idiots and haters that can hold you back. todays Marine Corps is trying to be more politically correct as in limiting the number and size of tattoos or trying to make everybody wear a physical training jump suit, there are more pressing issues that the current commandant can be worrying about like keeping good leaders with tattoos in instead of keeping them out.
