Pros

Considerable amount paid as salary, rental subsidy, etc. Work and life balance guaranteed. Very flexible.

Cons

No positions opening. US pulling out of multiple UN organisations - so many regular posts are vulnerable now with the budget cut. Also many staff have been with the organization for many years - which may be less "exciting" for younger staff.

Pros

1. working hour should be 8:30-17:30, but normally 9:30-17:30. 2. never get message or emails after work 3. collagues are very hard work (even don't take lunch time every day). 4. Benefits are good for formal staff (with P).

Cons

1. no remote working day (this is horrible) 2. this year is very difficult for UN, headcount is frozen. Very difficult to transfer to a formal staff
