Remote work, latest frameworks and technologies. Freedom to chose your programming stack. Ability to learn from more expirianced team mates

Cons

As a developer should be able to react on issues at any time on the manager request. No salary growing

Work from home on Wednesdays Free lunch, and fully-stocked kitchens in both MountainView and SF offices Happy hour Thursdays (SF), Tuesdays (MountainView) Most people are great (there are some truly brilliant people here) Benefits and compensation are fair (for new hires)

Cons

Power struggles Backstabbing Politics (that's everywhere, not just Upwork) Some people are terrible* Division between oDesk and Elance sides of the company (but it's on the mend)* Division between MountainView office and SF office *These cons only apply to certain teams.
